Wow! We had a very busy, fun weekend; plus last week was just crazy!
My brother got married on Saturday afternoon. It was definitely a family affair for our house as I was a bridesmaid and EJ was the flower girl.
I worked with EJ for weeks and weeks on walking S-L-O-W. We would walk back and forth down our "aisle" (aka hallway). When we practiced dropping petals, she would drop one and then pick it up :) In the end, the bride decided to surprise my brother by having EJ carry a sign that read "Uncle Kurt, here comes your bride"
EJ could not have done better while walking down the aisle!! I hope to have pictures soon of her cute little self coming down the aisle with her sign. She followed the bride and groom out of the sanctuary with the sign reversed. It read, "The Pi...(last name), est. February 23, 2013". Just precious!
The Newlyweds...

Anyway, since I was a part of the bridal party and had to keep up with EJ and AG, I barely got any pictures.
Here are the few I took before the ceremony...
MK's gorgeous dress
Getting the bride ready. All the bridesmaids choose their own dress -- in solid navy. I loved that MK let us choose our own, now I have a dress that I LOVE and will wear again.
The flower girl (sign holder) -- we were running a little behind schedule, so I kept her occupied with crackers :) Plus, I woke up that morning without a voice...it was just gone! That made it interesting trying to keep a two year old out of trouble!
Even though it was rainy and dreary on Saturday, the wedding itself was wonderful! Such a fun time for our family!!
