Catch Up

It's been so long since I put together a real post, that a catch up one will have to do for now...

 

:: It has been cold, then warm, and now really, really cold here! Last night we had freezing rain and ice.

 

:: Hubby and I were supposed to go on a date night last night, but we cancelled our reservations due to ice. Since it is Restaurant Week here we knew we wouldn't be able to find anything last minute. I kept checking and checking and there was one opening for tonight at our restaurant of choice!! I grabbed it and now we are looking forward to a fancy night out!

 

:: EJ got this magna-d00dle for Christmas. Every morning when the girls and I come downstairs, we find a fun note and picture from Daddy/Hubby. Here's one from last week:

 

 

:: AG had a stomach bug a week or so ago. Oh.my.word! It was the first time one of my kids has had a stomach bug...if it never happens again, it will be too soon! (I know that's impossible)

 

:: I had a cold last week and EJ still has one (going on 2 weeks now).

 

:: We are gearing up for a busy, busy February. Today is my mom's birthday; next Saturday is AG's 1st birthday; two weeks later is my niece, Reagan's 1st birthday; and the week after that is my brother's wedding!! It is going to be a BUSY month!!

 

:: EJ is going to be the flowergirl at the wedding. Her dress is darling!!! I can't wait to post pics.

 

:: Last weekend was my future SIL's bachelorette weekend. I was only able to go on Saturday, but it was a nice, relaxing day at a beautiful lake house. Unfortuantely, I didn't get any pictures. 

 

:: I really love cold weather, but since I have little ones who enjoy being outside I really want the weather to warm up. They miss playing outside and I really miss how much energy they burn off :)
