5th Anniversary Weekend

On Saturday, Hubby and I celebrated 5 years of marriage!

We had planned to head to the beach on Friday for the weekend, but sick kiddos changed our plans :(

Last Tuesday, EJ came down with a cold. We were still planning on going until AG also got sick. They were both up ALL night Thursday night (like 8 separate times!!). We decided by the sixth time up that my parents didn't need to deal with that all weekend...so we stayed home.

My parents were gracious enough to still be willingly to watch the girls and let us have free days for the weekend! We decided to splurge for the weekend and enjoy some meals out!

My mom watched the girls on Friday while we went to lunch at Sullivan's Steakhouse (ooh la la!). It was absolutely delicious and very relaxing. There's nothing like a filet mignon during the middle of the day :)

These pictures of us seem to show exactly how we felt....EXHAUSTED but happy!!!! :) We had been up all night with the girls.

 

 

After lunch, we headed to a nearby French bakery and enjoyed a quiet cup of coffee.

Saturday day was spent at home with our sick babies until my parents came over that evening so we could enjoy diner at PF Chang's.

 

It wasn't the exact weekend we had planned on, but it ended up being exactly what we needed!
